Collectibles for Today and Tomorrow

CHINA & GLASS

There are many companies promoting "collectibles" today and most of them are very well made and well designed, but which will truly increase in value over time?

The best bets are on companies with a long history of quality. Companies like Wedgewood, Royal Doulton, Royal Albert, Waterford, Lladro, Lalique, and many others. Other good bets are companies that purposely create the best in the world product.

You may not have a current interest in collecting modern production, but it is still a good idea to keep an eye on the current marketplace and be aware of discontinued models and patterns for future reference.

We have a financial affiliation with the following companies, but I think you will agree that they remain leaders in their respective industries.

Precious Moments

The Bradford Exchange Online offers an extensive selection of "Precious Moments" figurines in addition to many other collectibles. We have an ongoing business affiliation with the Bradford Exchange, but find they have collectible products for many interests.

The following is highly recommended by us. We currently have no business affiliation with them.

This retailer, Montinas has the largest selection in Europe of Lladro sculptures, both current and retired. They ship worldwide. If you collect or deal in Lladro, you owe it to yourself to keep this site in your "favorites" list.

Montinas Lladro Official Spanish Dealer,

As an Amazon affiliate, I have included links to products I recommend, but there are many other brands and prices available at Amazon and other retailers. (We are a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for us to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites.) We are also affiliates of many of the other sites we link to. Sites that we recommend that we have no affiliation with are indicated with an asterisk (*). However, we have either purchased or at least tested any recommended affiliate sites before adding their link to our site.

TOYS and MODELS

Toys have always been collectible and still remain popular today. Toys encompass all categories, stuffed animals, tin toys, action figures, cast iron toys, electronic toys and so on.

Adult toys include model cars, trains, aircraft and ships. The price points are also much higher.

Die-cast car models in particular are perennial favorites and this web site presents an extensive offering from multiple manufacturers.

Model Trains at the Bradford Exchange Online

Some very nice offerings from The Bradford Exchange Online, and the pricing is reasonable. The modelling detail is very good as well. We have an affiliate arrangement with The Bradford Exchange but recommend their collectible products for maintaining and hopefully, increasing in value over time.

The following is highly recommended by us. We currently have no business affiliation with them.

Fine Art Models is an organization that prides itself on creating the finest model transportation in the world. All their products are limited edition and of museum quality. Whether your interest is cars, aircraft, motorcycles, ships or military, they have a tantalizing selection for you.

The ARTS

Bradford Exchange Online

The art of Thomas Kincaid, presented by the Bradford Exchange. Although he is no longer with us, his art lives on and will live on for a long time. We have an affiliate arrangement with the Bradford Exchange, but the works of Thomas Kincaid speak for themselves.
